    PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES (FOR NEW STUDENTS)

    OPTION A: ONLINE PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES USING CARDS

    1.Log on to the website: www.cdl.mautech.edu.ng

    2.Click on Fresh Student Login on the Portal Login Tab 

    3. Supply the log credentials sent to your e-mail (i.e. your Application Number and Surname) and Click on MyAccounts Tab

    4.Select the session, payment type (i.e 1st or 2nd Semester), payment mode and Click on continue Button.

    5.The Payment Advice comes up showing the transaction ID and other important information.

    6.Click on the Pay Online Button which shows the amount to be paid and Click on Pay Button

    7.Supply your card details and Click on submit Button

    8.Upon success, there is a redirect to a page showing approved/successful, a mail is sent to you and you will see a link to Generate your Matric Number

     

    OPTION B: PAYMENT AT ANY OF THE BRANCH OF THE BANK

    1.Log on to the website: www.cdl.mautech.edu.ng

    2.Click on Student Login on the Portal Login Tab 

    3.Supply the log credentials sent to your e-mail and Click on the MyAccounts Tab

    4.Select the session, payment type (i.e 1st or 2nd Semester), payment mode and Click on continue Button.

    5.The Payment Advice comes up showing the transaction ID and other important information.

    6.Click on Pay at any bank branch of Zenith and print out 2 copies of the payment advice.

    7.Go to the bank pay and return to the portal to continue Course Registration.

     

    PROCEDURE TO GENERATE YOUR MATRIC NUMBER

    1.Log on to the website: www.cdl.mautech.edu.ng

    2.Click on Fresh Student Login on the Portal Login Tab

    3.You will be assigned your matric number and will be logged out. You can re-login to do Course Registration.

     

    PROCEDURE FOR COURSE REGISTRATION

    1.Log on to: www.cdl.mautech.edu.ng

    2.Click on Portal Login; then Student Login

    3.Supply your Login Details (Matric No & Password) and Click on Submit Button

    4.Click on myCourses tab

    5.Select the session and Click on Submit Button

    6.To register, tick the courses you are to register

    7.Click on Submit Button to complete registration

     

    PRINTING OF APPROVED COURSE FORM

    1. Log on to: www.cdl.mautech.edu.ng

    2. Click on Portal Login; then Student Login

    3. Supply your Login Details (Matric No & Password) and Click on Submit Button

    4. Click on myCourses tab

    5. Click on myCourse forms tab

    6. Click on Continue Button to print the approved course form

  • Overview Of ODL

    The policy stipulates that open and distance learning provides options to persons who –after completing Junior and secondary education- can continue their education at tertiary level; combine work and schooling at the same time; or seek gainful employment and then continue their education at a later period of their choice.

     
    GOALS OF OPEN AND DISTANCE LEARNING
    • TO provide access to quality education as well as equity in educational opportunities to those who otherwise would have been denied
    • TO meet special needs of employers by mounting special certificate courses for their employees at their work place
    • TO encourage internationalization especially of tertiary education curricula
    • TO ameliorate the effect of internal and external brain drain in tertiary institutions by utilization experts as teachers regardless of their locations or places of work (N.P.E 2004)
     
    SCOPE OF ODL ACTIVITIES
    Cognizant of the need to contextualize the applicability of the various ODL delivery modalities, the ODL mode shall not be applicable to academic disciplines in a university that does not have capability for that discipline. In view of Nigeria's present technological and infrastructural challenges, the academic disciplines which may be offered by the ODL mode within the short to the medium term are courses in education, administration and management sciences, social sciences, humanities and arts, sciences and applied sciences
     
    ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS
    All entrants into degree programmes offered by ODL must meet the minimum national requirements for admission into the university as stipulated by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board
     
    NATURE OF ODL
    For all academic programmes to be taught via ODL, interactive texts shall be at the heart of teaching and learning. These shall be supplemented with other resources such as CDROM, DVD or USB sticks to deliver e-books, simulations, assessment, etc.
    ODL means that students should not be required to attend classes or have face-to-face contact; unless there are compelling reasons to justify it; such as examinations, periodic facilitations and practicum.
